Amelanchier lamarckii This Amelanchier has the common name 'Snowy Mespilus' for it's unique and exquisite Spring show of ivory star shaped flowers. An attractive and colourful tree all year round; the young leaves are a stunning copper and pink, which turn to a vibrant yellowish green for Summer and are decorated with vivid scarlet berries in June. These berries later turn deep purple and contrast superbly against the crimson Autumnal foliage. Current height: 2.5 metres Eventual height: This Amelanchier has the potential to reach 10 metres tall. Aspect: This tree will thrive in full sun to partial shade in well-drained soil.
